Medical students and faculty from Shaoxing University, LSSU's partner university in China, are in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, until August 7 for a summer program that offers glimpses into American health services and culture.

Upcoming exchanges will involve more students and faculty from both universities in different academic disciplines.

Shaoxing University, located 100 miles south of Shanghai on China's coast, is a four-year university with 23,000 full-time students enrolled in the arts, natural sciences, engineering, medical science, law, education, economics, and management.

This is Shaoxing University's second summer visit, and includes business students and faculty for a total of 34 visitors.
