Police pull over black SUV for going fast

On July 5, 2015 at approximately 9 p.m. an officer from the Sault Ste. Marie detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a black SUV travelling westbound at a high rate of speed on Highway 17B.

The vehicle was stopped.

As a result of this traffic stop and further investigation Nicholas DUGUAY, 26 years, of MacDonald Township was arrested and charged with one count of Have Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle over 80 milligrams of Alcohol as per the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste. Marie on August 10, 2015.
