Local beer you can drink at home (8 photos)

The 300 block of Queen Street East was busier than usual last Friday evening as OutSpoken Brewing celebrated the official launch of its storefront.

The 300 block of Queen Street East was busier than usual last Friday evening as OutSpoken Brewing celebrated the official launch of its storefront.

A steady stream of beer aficionados filed through the dispensary located at 350 Queen Street East, grabbing growlers filled with local craft suds, including Pottswurth Maple Breakfast Stout, Rabbit's Foot IPA, Split Shot Ale and Lagered Ale.

And because it's always nice to be neighbourly, Shabby Motley joined the festivities offering for the first time ever deliciously homemade pulled pork sandwiches to mark the occasion.

It was a match made in heaven.

The pairing was so successful in fact that we've learned Shabby Motley has plans to offer savoury sandwiches to coincide with the brewery's dispensary hours, Tuesdays and Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m.

OutSpoken growlers filled with a brew of your choosing are $20 each while growler refills cost $12.
