The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club, in co-operation with Northside Volkswagen, is excited to announce they will be hosting the 1st Annual VW Hounds Youth Winter Classic.
The event will be held on Monday, February 2 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Northside Volkswagen parking lot located at 61 Great Northern Road (across from the Cambrian Mall).
During this event all members of the Hounds will “take it to the streets” in a ball hockey game and one-on-one competitions at the Northside VW parking lot.

This year’s lucky youth team to participate is Fecteau Bulldogs (Atom Major A).
The public is welcome to attend! You’re encouraged to bring your son or daughter to meet-and-greet the Hounds, get autographs, and have a chance to show their skills against the Hounds (time permitted, helmets required).

There will also be a donation box on-site with all funds going to the local Jump Start charity.

Volkswagen will match the first $500 raised to ensure your dollar goes a long towards helping underprivileged Sault Ste Marie youth participate in sport.
Tim Hortons hot chocolate and snacks will be served.
