Toddler sustains serious injuries in collision

Original police release issued at 4:46 a.m.: On the 13 December 2014 City Police responded to the scene of a personal injury accident at Wellington St West and Carmen’s Way.

It was discovered that a silver Nissan Rogue had rear ended a white Dodge pickup truck.

Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.

A two year old child was ejected from her seat and suffered serious injuries.

She was transported to hospital.

City Police are continuing their investigation.

Charges are pending.
