The United Way of Sault Ste. Marie and district is celebrating their mid-campaign luncheon.

They have teamed with the Sault College Public Relations and Event Management program to hold a sleepy hollow themed luncheon on Halloween.

The event will be held to celebrate the success of the local United Way organization and to thank the generous community organizations and businesses for their kind donations.

Without their support, the success of United Way Sault Ste. Marie and district wouldn’t be possible.

The mid-campaign luncheon will be held to thank the community who has supported the United Way up to the half-way point of their fundraising campaign.

The luncheon will take place on Friday, October 31, 2014 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., with doors opening at 11:30 a.m., at The Chicago Cook Shop, 384 McNabb Sault Ste. Marie.

Tickets for the event will be $15.

The event will include lunch and refreshments as well as cheque presentations, a candy bar, a raffle table with prizes and a photo op station.

All guests are welcome to wear Halloween costumes.

This event will focus upon commemorating and honoring those who have made a difference in the United Way over this past year.

Not only will this event be a time for celebration, but also an opportunity to reflect upon our partners and their efforts to support community growth and well-being.
