Look what the rain did (updated: another closure)

Below is a list of rain-related closures we have received today.

Keep checking back as we will be updating this list as more closures are announced.

- Due to the heavy rainfall and ongoing construction, the George Leach Centre is closed effective immediately, until Monday, October 6th at 8:30am. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Please call 705-949-2301, Ext. 4500 for updates.

- Unfortunately, in light of the dismal weather forecast for this weekend, we have reluctantly decided to cancel our Bike and Hike event.

We thank everyone that generously volunteered their time in planning, advertising, as well as those who offered to come help us run the event on Sunday.

Even though the event itself has been cancelled, our GEOCACHE activity is still open to any geocachers who want to come try it out sometime over the next few weeks!

- Due to significant rainfall and continued rainfall warnings the City of Sault Ste. Marie has closed all outdoor sports fields.

Football games on the Rocky DiPietro Football Field and the Queen Elizabeth B Football Field are cancelled for the following league:

• High School Football Touch Football

Closures will remain in effect until Monday, October 6.
