Dog slammed through wall, man charged with assault

On September 23, 2014, city police responded to another domestic complaint.

It is alleged a man, who had been consuming alcohol, showed up at his ex- girlfriend’s residence.

An argument ensued and she was allegedly assaulted and threatened with being choked.

The man also punched holes in the bedroom wall and the bedroom door.

The man became so enraged he grabbed the woman’s dog and slammed the animals head through the drywall injuring it.

He was quickly caught and arrested.

During the subsequent investigation by police, the man is also alleged to have committed an assault on the girl at a New Year’s Eve party this past year.

He is charged with assault x 2, mischief, threatening, and injuring a domestic animal.

He will be appearing in bail court this morning at 10 a.m.
