Dianna and Shirley charged as a result of drug investigation

On the 21st of August 2014, officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by members of the Crime Suppression Unit, entered into an investigation into illicit drugs on Carufel Avenue in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

As a result of the investigation and search warrant, various quantities of controlled drugs were seized along with associated materials.

Charged as a result of the incident, are 53-year-old Dianna Vandette of Carufel Avenue, and 42-year-old Shirley Arcand of Bay Street with several Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences.

Both individuals are to appear in court on September 22, 2014.
