John busted for drugs, debt lists, packaging materials

CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE ************************* On October 4 members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Emergency Services Unit, Crime Suppression Unit and Canine Unit executed a search warrant on Biggings Avenue.

On October 4 members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Emergency Services Unit, Crime Suppression Unit and Canine Unit executed a search warrant on Biggings Avenue.

During the course of the search, 6 grams of marihuana, 84 grams of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, debt lists and a quantity of cash were all seized.

As a result, 46-year-old John Speers of 173 Biggings Ave was charged with two counts of being in possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on October 21.
