Additional charge laid in MVC Fatality from August 31

Officers from Traffic Services are continuing their investigation into the fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred in the evening hours of August 31 on McNabb Street near Algoma Avenue.

On the 31st of August 54-year old Michael Casselman of 111 MacDonald Avenue was charged with one count of operate motor vehicle-exceed legal limit causing death.

On the 10th of September the accused was further charged with one count of impaired driving causing death.

On the 3rd of October officers from Traffic Services attended at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and charged Mr. Casselman with one count of dangerous operation of motor vehicle causing death.

He will in bail court on the 4th of October.
