Embrace the winter wonderland!

BLU In The Soo will celebrate the winter season with a unique cold indoor event with Canadian music sensation Shawn Desman as the last stop on his Alive Tour across Canada.

Cool! They must be using one of the old St Mary's Paper buildings as a venue.

I bet there are some good acoustics in there.

I agree with Santos. Why is this guy coming here when the polls showed no one wanted him around??
Working Man 1/30/2013 9:45:33 PM Report

The Machine shop, isn't that in Flint, Michigan?

Or is it actually in a 'machine shop' in the Ste Marie's Paper?
jojoe71 1/30/2013 11:05:46 PM Report

gotta be bad for the guitar strings to play in the cold. Hard to keep them in tune. Depending on the band maybe it doesn't matter if they're out of tune.
syndi 1/30/2013 11:54:00 PM Report

I can honestly say that I do not think I have heard of anything more ridiculous for a place to give a concert. Whose bright idea was that? As cold inside as outside? How about colder.....as the cement and metal would hold all of the cold. Crazy and at almost $80.00 for a V.I.P ticket. Don't think so....not even at the cheaper price would I stand out there for the entertainment!

======================================

With the CRTC (CRTC) requirements, derived from the Broadcasting Act of Canada, that radio and television broadcasters (including cable and satellite specialty channels) must air a certain percentage of Canadian shows and songs.
But I still never heard that song once on FM101.
