Seen this morning at our new Walmart

Staff from Our Lady of Lourdes were on hand bright and early this morning for the official opening of the new Walmart Supercentre in the Station Mall.

Gail Biocchi-Rebek accepted a cheque from Assistant Manager Jeff Charron and Associate Kim Monk during the ceremony.  

The cheque represented a portion of Walmart's support of the school through its Adopt-A-School Program during the 2012-13 school year.

Ironically, a decade ago Our Lady of Lourdes was the first school selected by the Walmart store on Great Northern Road as its adopted school.
