While chasing the sunset on Thursday evening, SooToday.com happened to spot a curious moose just off the road near the airport.
We stopped, turned around and returned to see if the moose would be kind enough to pose for a few pictures.
The young moose looked almost as if she wanted to come over and check the photos on our camera to see if we got her good side.
As she took a step toward the road another moose loped out of the bushes to the south of her and she turned to follow that bigger, darker moose into the thicker woods.
They were gone so fast it seemed almost like they were never there.
But it was well worth missing a sunset over the lake to see them.
