Joshua runs, hides. Gets caught anyway

On June 2, 2012, Police received information regarding the whereabouts of a wanted male.
 
They attended in the 1600 block of Wellington St East to arrest the accused and found he had, minutes before, been tipped off in regards to the police presence and bolted out the rear door of the residence.
 
Further assistance from the public resulted in police attending an address on Poplar Ave.
 
The male jumped out a second story window and ran to try and escape but was chased down by patrol and Emergency Service Unit members.
 
Arrested was Joshua Douglas Roess (age 18) of no fixed address.
 
He was charged with breach of probation, breach of recognizance and was transported to the Algoma Treatment and Remand Center on a Surety Revocation warrant.
 
He will be appearing in bail court on Monday 4 June 2012.
