The Township of Plummer Additional has imposed a fire ban effective immediately and effective until further notice.

No open burning is permitted in any circumstances

Open burning violations can be reported to Ken Morin (community fire safety officer) at 705-251-6079

The Town of Bruce Mines has announced that it, too, has imposed a fire ban.

And, earlier today the Municipality of Huron Shores established a fire ban due to the unusually high fire risk caused by dangerously dry conditions.

It is effective immediately and will be maintained until further notice.
