NEWS RELEASE

CHURCHILL LANES

*************************

After 13 years as proprietors of the well-known local bowling establishment and over 25 years in the business, the owners of Churchill Lanes are retiring.

But this does not mean the end for the local company who is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

“We do have interested parties looking to operate the facility after May 31st and we are confident that a suitable successor will be found," says Liisa Woolley.

She and her husband Rob and their family have operated the facility for over 13 years.

The Woolley family, well known in the local bowling community, say they intend to continue to support bowling in the community and look forward to assisting the new proprietors once in place.

“We have both been involved in the sport since we were children we have made several great friends and we will continue to actively promote the sport in our community," Liisa continued. "We have always cared about giving back to our community and this is a way for us to be involved and help our community to remain active. We would like to thank all of our loyal patrons over the years and look forward to bowling with them at Churchill Lanes, for many years to come. The establishment remains business as usual until further notice. To thank all of our loyal customers, Churchill Lanes is currently running a Family Special - four games of bowling, four pairs of shoes and four pop for $25. Come join us for fun family entertainment."
