CBS newsman Mike Wallace is dead at the age of 93.
Wallace was the first person hired for the hard-hitting news program 60 MInutes and he is credited with being an integral part of the team that made the show one of the most popular news shows ever.
He is remembered for dogged and merciless on-air confrontations with noteable newsmakers in a carreer that spanned 60 years.
