ROTARY CLUB OF
SAULT STE. MARIE

The Sault is a warm-hearted bunch!

SAULT STE. MARIE - For seven hours today, Sault Ste. Marie community members called in their donations for physically disabled children as part of the Easter Seals Telethon.

Rallying together generous sponsors, supporters, Rotarians, Easter Seals families, and volunteers managed to collect in excess of $137,000 for Easter Seals Ontario.

Over 80 kids in Sault Ste. Marie need Easter Seal services.

Easter Seals supports physically disabled children by funding equipment and services, as well as sending children to accessible summer camps.

Co-chair and co-host of this year’s Easter Seals Telethon, Michael Delfre, would like to thank everyone that contributed to this wonderful event, exclaiming: “We know how difficult it is to raise funds in Sault Ste Marie with so many great causes, so to achieve the kind of total we reached today, it really shows us that the community is aware of the needs that Easter Seals children and their families have. It also tells us that the community is supportive of the Rotary Club efforts to support Easter Seals.”
