Sault College students host “It’s a Wing Thing” in support of the lung association

The inaugural Public Relations and Event Management class of Sault College will be hosting an all-you-can-eat wing night in coordination with the Lung Association. The fundraising event will be held on March 22, 2012 at Centre Ice Bar and Grill.

The Lung Association is among Canada’s most respected non-profit health promotion organizations. This registered charity relies on the generosity of donors and educational partners across the province.

WHO: The Sault College Public Relations and Event Management class in support of our local Lung Association.

WHAT: An event-filled, all-you-can-eat wing night full of contests, prizes, and live entertainment. This is the first event created, designed, and executed by the Public Relations and Event Management class.

COST: $20 per ticket (tickets include all-you-can-eat wings and fries, entry to contests, and live entertainment).

WHERE: Centre Ice Bar and Grill, 285 Northern Avenue East (above the Pee Wee Arena), Sault Ste. Marie, ON (705) 575-7200.

WHEN: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., March 22, 2012. Wings will be served throughout the night. The first contest begins at 7 p.m.

WHY: The event is to raise money for The Lung Association and highlight the new Sault College Public Relations and Event Management program.

Public Relations and Event Management students Giordan Zin, Kylie Kozak, Christina Olsen, and Jeff Galey will be available for press interviews leading up to and during the event.
