Police stand off on Dennis Street

SooToday.com's Carol Martin is currently on scene where City Police officers await judicial permission to enter a Dennis Street residence.

Two people, one in handcuffs, have been removed from the residence.

Dennis Street is blocked from Queen to Wellington, as is an adjacent portion of Albert Street.

Officers would not confirm or deny that the current situation on Dennis Street is in relation to a robbery that occured earlier today at a business located on Queen Street near the City Bus Terminal.
