Update - Jordan Porter arrested

Members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Investigation Unit, Patrol Services and the Emergency Services Unit located and arrested 22 year-old Jordan Porter of 180 Albert Street West at his residence at 1:04 p.m. on the 11th of January.

The accused has been charged with one count of robbery with a weapon, one count of possession of a weapon for purpose dangerous to the public, one count of threaten death and one count of breach of probation.

He is to appear in bail court on Thursday morning.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to thank the media and the public for all their assistance.
