Been wondering about that seasonal billboard on the Second Line bypass east of Old Garden River Road?

It's the work of St. Basil Secondary School students enrolled in a course titled The Artist at Work in a Contemporary Context.

"The billboard hopefully provokes some meaningful dialogue with respect to the meaning of Christmas," notes Adriano DiCerbo in a note to SooToday.com News.

"The project challenges viewers with a seemingly simple question. We all seem to be looking for something during the Christmas season. It is our hope that this Christmas our billboard will nudge viewers to adjust their gaze and 'look' inward."

The billboard's content is also depicted on a Christmas postcard that can be purchased for $1.

All proceeds are being donated to the United Way.

Watch for some changes to the billboard this week, Adriano adds.
