Laurie Aceti acclaimed as Catholic School Board chair

Aceti acclaimed as HSCDSB chair

SAULT STE. MARIE - Laurie Aceti was returned as chair of the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board of Trustees at the Board’s inaugural meeting Wednesday, December 14, 2011.

Aceti was acclaimed to the position as was vice-chair Lindsay Liske who was also acclaimed to a second one-year term.

“I think this is a testament to the teamwork being demonstrated by the Board,” said Aceti.

“We have worked together over the past year and have made accomplishments that all of us should be proud of,” added Aceti. “This Board continues to face challenges and I appreciate the support of my fellow trustees that they are confident in my leadership.”

Liske, an Espanola resident, was pleased to also have the support of the Board.

“I thank my sponsor and appreciate the support shown for my nomination,” said Liske.

Mrs. Aceti will make her inaugural address to the Board at the next scheduled meeting for Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
