Joe and company become miracle workers

Joe Maione, an investment advisor in Sault Ste. Marie with CIBC Wood Gundy, attended the National CIBC Miracle Day in Toronto held on December 7.

At this event, investment advisors and staff donate fees and commissions to various children's charities.

The local Sault Ste. Marie branch raised $18,519.

The money will be allocated to various children's charities in Sault Ste. Marie and Wawa during the next few months.

The charities include Easter Seals, the Rotary Club of Wawa, Sault Area Hospital, the Santa Fund and the Special Olympics.
