St. Patrick School says farewell (11 photos)

Thursday night marked an opportunity for current and former students to take a stoll down memory lane at St. Patrick Elementary School. After Christmas, the final six grades still taking classes at the school will move to Sister Mary Clare.

Thursday night marked an opportunity for current and former students  to take a stoll down memory lane at St. Patrick Elementary School.

After Christmas, the final six grades still taking classes at the school will move to Sister Mary Clare.

Once the students leave for Christmas break, it will mark the end of classes at the 50-year-old school.

Once the classes have transferred over, St. Patrick will undergo demolition as Holy Cross continues to be built on-site. 

The demolition is expected to happen in mid-January.

The new school, which will house St. Patrick, Sister Mary Clare, St. Hubert and St. Mark, will officially open its doors in September 2012.
