Buy a calendar from a biker chick. Help Connor fight cancer

These definitely are not your average biker chicks. Camira-Women of the Wind is an all-female motorcycle group based in Sault Ste. Marie.

These definitely are not your average biker chicks.

Camira-Women of the Wind is an all-female motorcycle group based in Sault Ste. Marie.

The group has a mission of having fun riding, promoting the “classier, more feminine side of motorcycle” and educating as well.

The group also looks to help others and is currently raising money for five-year-old Conner Duguay-Fleming, who has a rare form of leukemia.

Conner was diagnosed in May and Camira put together a calendar with help from Kevanna Studios, which they are selling to raise money for Conner.

Camira was at the Station Mall on Saturday selling the calendar and even had young Conner pay them a visit.

The proceeds from the $10 calendar are going entirely to Conner’s family to help in his fight.

Saturday was not the lone day the group will be selling their calendars.

They will be back at the Station Mall on December 10, set up in front of Roots.

The following day, they will be at the Essar Centre selling their calendar during that night’s Greyhound game against Oshawa.
