Thanks to a recommendation from a friend, Miss Nnensa traveled all the way to Sault Ste. Marie to be a part of this past weekend's Passport to Unity celebration at the Essar Centre.

"I love the whole concept of bringing different cultures together to celebrate the diversity that the area offers," she told SooToday.

Presented by the Sault Community Career Centre, the 10th annual celebration of diversity also featured a wide selection of ethnic food, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.
