Family Life Theatre Proudly presents the final performance of this season, a modern day farce, Don't Dress For Dinner , April 15-18 at the Comfort Suites and Conference Centre.
Imagine a man planning a romantic weekend with a beautiful woman.
He even hires a cordon-blue cook (Suzette) for their first night together.
Now imagine that the woman is not his wife.
The wife (Jacqueline) is reluctantly leaving for her mother's for the weekend so her husband (Bernard) can have a quiet weekend "working".
But, just to be on the safe side, Bernard asks his best friend (Robert) to also spend the weekend so the nosy neighbours won't gossip and, if someone unexpectedly returns, he can pass off the mistress (Suzanne) as Robert's girlfriend.
Now, Suzette and Suzanne both answer to Suzy and Robert has never met the cook nor the mistress.
As Bernard waits in anxious anticipation for his dallying wife to leave and the invited "guests" to arrive......the phone rings and Jacqueline answers it on her way out the door.

Suddenly, Jacqueline changes her mind and decides to stay home and this meticulously planned, perfect weekend is sent into a frenzy of lies, deception, blackmail and downright silliness.
We can honestly say that Don't Dress For Dinner is one of the funniest plays we have ever mounted and one you won't want to miss.
