Canada's National Ballet School tour adds second day to Sault stop

STUDIO DANCE ARTS

An open class, for dancers age 9 to 12, runs Monday with an arrival time of 3:15 p.m. and finish time of 5 p.m. Dancers, age 13 to 18, can attend an open class Monday from 4:45 to 6:45 p.m.

Auditions follow Tuesday.

Dancers, who will be in Grade 5 and 6 in September 2015, should arrive for 9:15 a.m. with finish time at 11 a.m.

Auditions for students in Grades 7 to 9 in September 2015, follow from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Dancers who'll be in Grades 10 to 12, and post-secondary students, tryout at the same time.

Arrival time is noon with auditions done at 2 p.m.

Open classes are available to all dance students regardless of their intention to audition for the school's full-time program.

Fee is $20 and $40 for auditions.

Sault Ste. Marie is one of 20 cities included in the school's national audition tour.
