The bad boys of rock have officially announced the coming of the "Loudest Show On Earth" to Sault Ste. Marie's Steelback Centre on December 6.

MÖTLEY CRÜE’s recent "Carnival of Sins" tour, which drew record crowds around the world with the group playing before an estimated one million in the U.S., received uniformly enthusiastic reviews on an evening that included fire-breathing midgets, aerial displays and assorted circus freaks and geeks.

MÖTLEY CRÜE had offers from more than 100 cities for their 2005 summer run, many of them conducting "Bring the Crüe" campaigns through local radio stations and media promotions that resulted in petitions being signed and a series of 55 dates added in the U.S. through the summer and fall.

A similar promotion here in Canada saw the band's 2005 release, Red, White & Crüe, certified platinum, and several concerts added to the tour.

MÖTLEY CRÜE are undisputedly one of the most successful and influential bands in rock history.

Since coming together in 1981, the four original members – vocalist Vince Neil, bassist and prime songwriter Nikki Sixx, guitarist Mick Mars and drummer Tommy Lee – have sold almost 40 million albums, over 10 million concert tickets, and lived the sex, drugs & rock n' roll lifestyle to a degree that has become legendary, even amongst the more colourful of their peers.
