Peacefully, with her family by her side at the Thessalon Hospital on Saturday September 26, 2015. Lillace Whitfield in her 90th year, beloved wife of the late Irwin Whitfield. Loving mother of Stanley ( Deby ), Ralph ( Earline ), Bruce ( Sharon ), Brian ( Vickie ), Douglas ( Cindy ), Gayle Wagner ( John ), Roger ( Lorna ), Steven ( Heather ), Terry ( Heather ), Tereasa Seabrook ( Sean ) and the late Lyle. Special Grandmother to 21 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren and predeceased by two Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. Dear daughter of the late Hjelmar and Margeta Peterson. Dear sister of Ruth Bailey ( late Ray ), Bernice Whitfield ( late Howard ), Robert Peterson ( Marilyn ), and the late Roger Peterson ( Helen ). Dear sister-in-law of Bill Bunting ( late Alma ), and the late Lloyd Whitfield ( Eunice ) and Lois Kirkpatrick ( late Willis ). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Thessalon Church of Christ on Thursday October 1, 2015 from 7 to 10pm. Funeral service in the church on Friday October 2, 2015 at 11am with Elgin Whitfield officiating.
