RINTOUL, Lloyd David

Age 78, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Alderwood Nursing Home in Baddeck. Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on February 10, 1937, Lloyd was the son of Captain John Boyd and Bertha Rintoul. Lloyd is survived by his two daughters, Dr. Natalie Rintoul (Dr. Gordon Morewood), Philadelphia PA, Liana Rintoul (Dr. Warren Wilkes), Sydney, NS; his five grandchildren, Drake (15) and Gabrielle (12) Morewood, Philadelphia and Sydney (11), Emily (9) and Darcy (4) Wilkes of Sydney, NS; his sister Pat Jensen, Scarborough, ON, and his sister-in-law Maurita Rintoul, Sault Ste. Marie, ON.  Lloyd is predeceased by his wife Rodina, his mother Bertha, his father Captain John Boyd and his brother Albert Rintoul.  Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 7-9 pm.  Memorial mass on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Precious Blood Cathedral at 10 am.  Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
