BRUNI, Taminna

Posted

32 years ago, the lord gave us an angel to love and guide through a life of struggle. On the 19th day of August, he called her to his side. In those years, we were given the gift of a beautiful, innocent, young woman, who has touched the hearts of so many. Taminna was one of God’s greatest creations, entrusted to the love of our family. A blessing to mom Ellen Carley (Bill) and dad, Frank Bruni. Taminna had her own little angel join us – her brother Joe, whom she adored. She was also a wonderful auntie Neena to her niece Emma, who she would spend hours doing puzzles, crafts and legos with. We will keep her alive in memory so Emma will always remember her. The biggest part of Taminna’s life was her gram and poppa, Tony and Colleen Carbone. Their lives have been changed forever. Taminna loved family time which included her Uncle Vince, Auntie Kimmy, Uncle Mike, Auntie Victoria, Special Auntie Anne (Michael), Uncle Mario, Auntie Lena, Uncle Gino, Auntie Brenda, and the late Uncle Ronaldo. Her late Nanna Maria and Nonno Eugenio Bruni were there to greet Taminna with kisses. Taminna was surrounded by a huge family of cousins who were so good and patient with her. Taminna was also blessed with a second family that opened their hearts and their home to her and us. Some of God’s angels here on earth is the Morin family. Danielle and Jeff opened their love to include her as their own, to share with her, Connor and Mapple, whom Taminna considered to be her brother and baby sister. Special second set of grandparents are Delores and Leo Morin, and Joyce and Gerry Conway. Susan Plastino worked with Taminna on a weekly basis, Susan, you gave Taminna wonderful times. To all of you mentioned, you were all included in this meeting in heaven, 32 years ago, along with us. My heart will never lose sight of this, and you all will be with each and every memory of “T”. Pringle and Brody miss you already! She will be sadly missed by the love of her life, Billy Thompson. At the family’s request a private service will be held. Memorial contributions to Community Living Algoma (CLA) would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (492 Wellington St. E., Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A 2L9 705-759-2522). Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.arthurfuneralhome.com

A meeting was quite far from earth
“It’s time again for another birth”,
Said the angels to the Lord above
“This special child will need much love,
Her progress may seem very slow,
And she’ll require extra care
From the folks she meets way down there.
She may not run or laugh or play.
Her thoughts may seem quite far away.
In many ways she won’t adapt,
And she’ll be known as handicapped.
So let’s be careful where she’s sent,
We want her life to be content.
Please Lord, find the parents who will
Do a special job for you.
They will not realize right away
The leading role they’re asked to play
But with this child sent from above
Come’s stronger faith and richer love.
And soon they’ll know the privilege given
In caring for this gift from heaven,
Their precious charge, so meek and mild
Is heaven’s very precious child.
