EMBURY, Gordon Murray

Peacefully at Extendicare Maple View on Monday, July 27, 2015 at the age of 77. Loving life partner of the late Roberta Hagan. Step father “Chum” of Pamela Daynard (Robert Shillington) and the late Laurie Powley. Loving and proud papa of Jenalyn Powley. Also greatly missed by his sisters Jeanette Cook (Godfrey) and Margy Kopp (Carl), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Isabelle Cormier (late Alfonse), Ronald Embury (Lillian) and parents Clarence and Dorothy Embury. Special uncle of Mike Cormier with whom he was an avid outdoorsman. As per Gordie’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. Memorial contributions to the Extendicare Maple View Residents Council or to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. A very special thank you to the Great Northern Nursing Centre and Extendicare Maple View for their wonderful care, compassion and support shown to Gordie.
