Harris, Donna

With great sadness the family announces Donna’s peaceful passing at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on July 25, 2015, in her 80th year. Loving wife of 62 years to Charles (Bud) Harris. Loving mother of Linda LaMothe, Laurie, Kathy, & Mike Harris and late infant son Ronald.  Grandmother of James Doleske, Lisa Petrocco (Jamie), and Kenneth (Mathew) Wynne – Harris. Great grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Dorothy Paros (John), Murray Rahn (Sally), Margaret Cooper (late Tony), Larry Rahn (Donna), Keith Rahn (Mary), Gloria Holmes (Bert), predeceased by June Koropecki, Marion Edgar, Gary Rahn, & Lynn McKinnon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Mom enjoyed time spent with her many friends and staff at the Garden River bingo hall (her other kids as she stated) and will be missed by all. She took great joy in being supportive and giving loving advice to others, even during her stay at ARCH. We would like to thank the staff & volunteers at the ARCH for their excellent care and love they provided to mom and our family. As per Donna’s wishes a private family service will be held.
