(March 31, 1931 – March 22, 2015) – Maureen passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Sault Area Hospital surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband and best friend Orval. Loving mother of Jane Williamson (late Jim) of Orangeville, Lori Pruce (late Bill) of Goulais River, Joe Cardinal (Bonnie) of Richards Landing and Mark Cardinal (Raili) of Sault Ste. Marie. Grandmother of Martin Shaule (Jutta), Rose White (Shane), Dawn Leachman, Trudi Palanuk (John), Max Robinson (Marcy) and Lindsey Cardinal (Conrad). Great grandmother of eleven, great great grandmother of three. Special friend of Sally Quigley (Hugh) of Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her parents Lily and Joe Brown of Sault Ste. Marie. Sister of Patricia Parkhurst of Port Perry and the late Jack Kernaghan of Sault Ste. Marie. In keeping with Maureen’s wishes, cremation will take place with no services.
