Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at the age of 78. Esther obtained her degree in Registered Nursing in 1958 with her specialties being Obstetrics and Gynecology. Beloved wife of The Honorable Clair Marchand. Loving mother of Michelle (deceased 1982) and Mark(Susan). Nona to Nathan and Michael. Sister to Carlo. She will be sadly missed by her brother and sister in law’s cousins, friends and everyone who knew her. A funeral in Barrie, Ontario has already taken place. A private family interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will be taking place. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. John Vianney Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
