King, Dawna Mae

It is with sorrow that the family announce the passing of Dawna Mae King on January 23, 2015 at the Sault Area Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.  Pre-deceased by her husband Marty King in 2004, she is survived by her children Charles (JoAnne) of Thessalon, grandchildren Michael (Tammy), Dawna King (Peter), great grandchildren Rachel King, Kayla King, Tristin  King, Bayley Shaw, Koalton Nadjiwon and great great grandchild Makaya.  Dear special friend of Lou Bigras, and sister in law to Arla Smith (Hubert), Lyle King (Val), Pat Taylor (Bob), the late Darel and the late Laurna (late Nick). Also pre-deceased by her parents Melville and Edith Proud and her  siblings Melville, Glenn and Rita.  Friends will be received at the Beggs Funeral Home in Thessalon Monday evening from 7-9 p.m.  The service will be held Tuesday, January  27, 2015 at 1 p.m. from the funeral home chapel.  A small service will also be held in the Spring 2015 from the Cloudslee United Church with interment to follow in the Cloudslee Cemetery.  Memorial contributions to the BRDHC, Thessalon Site or the Lighthaven Christian Home in Bruce Mines would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences to the King family may be made at www.beggsfh.com
