TAYLOR, Mary Ann

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the age of 68.  Mary Ann was called to be with the one she loves, devoted husband and best friend Arthur (Art).  Mary Ann was born November 7, 1946 in Germany to the late Frank Merling and Maria Dittmann.  In l959 the family, now including a brother the late Gary Merling relocated to Sault Ste. Marie.  In July 1967 Mary Ann married the love of her life Arthur (Art) Taylor.  They were a wonderful team; enjoying life to the fullest both sharing a wonderful sense of humour and a deep devotion to each other and their children.  Mary Ann will be eternally loved and missed by her son Arthur of Sault Ste. Marie and daughter Nicole, her husband Mal and their two daughters – Sophie and Katie all of Mississauga, ON.  Fondly remembered by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins both locally and internationally.  Mary Ann will also be greatly missed by her special cat “Sweety”.  Friends and family may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 11 am to 12:30 pm.  Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm.  Interment Holy Sepulche Cemetery.  Mary Ann loved flowers and contributions of flowers or charity donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
