Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday October 24, 2014 at the age of 76.  Loving husband of his beloved wife Illa (Mattila). Dear father of Bernard (Bern), Bonnie (James), Les (Patsy), Tim (Katie) and Bill.  Cherished grandfather of Paul, Chrissy, Elisha, Josh, Nick, Marie, Laura, Jessica, Becky, Illa, Stevie-Lynn and Tim.  Great- Grandfather of Caitlyn, Maygine, Theia, Colton and Devon. Brother of Norm (Mary) and predeceased by Ethel, Edith, Roy, Daisy, Alvin, Alice, Caroline, Lyman, Bill, Barb, Joey and Eva. Brother-In-Law of Jim (Jean), Harold (Karen), Jenny (Bill), Gerry (late Floyd), late Nielo, Helen and Judy.  Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.  Interment at West Korah Cemetery.
