VERDONK, Hubertus 'Bert' Marinus

It is with great sorrow that the family announces Bert’s passing in Sudbury on Sunday, September 21st, 2014 at the age of 59 years.  Loving son of the late Hubert and late Francina (née Blummel) Verdonk.  Cherished father of Angele Verdonk (Jason Martell) of Sudbury.  Dear brother of Marina Verdonk of Sault Ste.Marie and Mary Serhan (David) of Calgary.  Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in The Netherlands and by his friends.  Bert was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed many sports.  Bert spent his entire career as an engineer at the Domtar Paper Mill in Espanola.  In keeping with Bert’s  wishes, there will be no visitation.  A memorial will be held for close family and friends at a later date.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.  Messages of condolence can be forwarded to [email protected].
