Greene, Ron

It is with profound sadness that we announce Ron’s death on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014 at the Intercare Chinook Hospice in Calgary, AB, at the age of 64, following a valiant struggle with cancer.  Ron was the youngest son of the late Ernie and Mildred Greene.  He was the loving “baby bro” of Gayle Russon (late Jack) of Sault Ste. Marie.  He is also survived by his brother Randy of Calgary, AB, his sister Sharon Dick (Paul) of Ottawa, ON and his brother Richard.    Ron had numerous nieces and nephews whose lives were enriched by his presence.  Although he had lived in Calgary for over 30 years, Ron always thought of Sault Ste. Marie as his “home”.  He visited frequently and maintained close contact with his many friends in the Sault.  We will miss his visits so much.  Ron was a kind, gentle soul who has left this world a better place because he was here.  We will love him and miss him forever.  Cremation has taken place.  At Ron’s request, no funeral service will be held.
