(LUKENDA) MICHAUD, Christa Stephanie

Posted

November 11, 1984 to August 31, 2013. The love of her life, best friend, soul mate & wife of Ryan.  Tragically taken too soon to be with our Lord. Beloved, caring, gorgeous, sweet daughter of Dr. John Peter & Violet Cecile Lukenda. Energetic, fun, lovable youngest baby sister to Darlene Gallagher (Dean), Steven (predeceased), Kim Lukenda (Dwayne), Michael Lukenda (Marina), Marissa Marques (John), Danielle Lukenda Lamming (Brent), Rachel Corrigan (Shawn), Andrea Tremblay (Kevin) and Damian Lukenda (Jillian). Daughter-in-law to Ann & Garry Michaud. Sister-in-law to Kerry (Paul) Harris & Scott (Kellie) Michaud. Auntie to Sarah, Jenna, Marina, Andrew, Keira, Joshua, Emma, Hannah, Alexis, Aidan, Matthew, Isabelle, Charlotte and Gracey. Beloved friend of Stephanie, Vanessa, Natasha, Melissa, Matt E., Darren, Matt H. and Graham. In a senseless act of drinking & driving, while innocently safely riding her bicycle, our Christa was killed at the age of 28. She touched endless lives with her warm sociable smile (St. Bernadette, Mount St. Joseph, U of Windsor). After completion of her BA BEd, Christa taught at the Caribbean International Academy Saint Maarten with Ryan for the past 5 yrs; recently returning to her hometown in hopes of securing a teaching position & continuing to touch the lives of others. Christa loved crimson roses & forget me nots. Thanks to SSM first responders, Dr. S. Smith & the trauma team at SAH for their tireless efforts. Visitation at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday evening from 4:00-9:00 p.m. Celebration Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish on Friday, Sept 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Father Pat Woods officiating. Memorial donations to M.A.D.D. or memorial masses in her memory would be appreciated by the family. Christa is now holding hands with her brother Stevie and shining down her love over all of us to carry on. Forever young in our hearts and in our lives. With loving memories, Love Ryan & your family. www.northwoodfuneral.com
