BERNARDO, Pasquale

Our hearts are heavy as we celebrate Pasquale’s 90 years of life.  A hard worker who put family above all else, Pasquale will be missed.  Pasquale adored his wife, Rosaria, of 58 years.  He was the loving father of Bianca Paradiso (Gino), John, Frank (Nancy), Sergio (Tammy) and David.  Precious Nanno of Ida Orr (Gentry), Christina, Laura (Matt), Robert, Tiana, Melina and Erika.  Special Nanno to Mathew and Michael Orr.  Son of the late Bruno Bernardo and the late Antonia Guercio. Beloved brother of the late Maria Roberto (late Angelo), the late Michele (Francesca), the late Francesco (late Rosaria), Giuseppe (Anna), Carmela Cresci (Mario) and Luigi (Grazia).  Special brother-in-law of Geniale (Carmela), Teresa Danubio (late Mario), Franco (Stella), Guerino (Franca), Mario and Enrico (Lilliana).  Affectionate Zio to many nieces and nephews and loved by family, friends and neighbours. Pasquale had a passion for gardening and was happiest in the shade of his cherry tree.  He loved family gatherings and we cherish the memories we all have of him.    Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road  705-945-7758) on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.  Funeral mass at St. Gregory’s Church on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating.  Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or St. Gregory’s Church would be appreciated by the family. www.northwoodfuneral.com
