About us

Crime Stoppers is a non-profit charitable community service program that helps solve and prevent crime in your community by providing a way for the public to anonymously report criminal activity. Our program encourages people to call us with information to solve crimes already committed, ones about to occur, and/or the whereabouts of wanted persons, missing persons, narcotics, and stolen property.

Crime Stoppers is based on the simple principle that for every crime committed, someone other than the criminal has information that might solve the crime. The program was created to combat the three major problems faced by law enforcement in generating that information.

  • The fear of reprisal
  • Apathy
  • Reluctance to get involved

We resolve these problems by offering anonymity to persons who provide information about crimes and paying rewards when the information leads to an arrest.
