VIDEO: Someone took more than $15,000 worth of copper wire

Between April 4 and April 11, 2019, unknown suspects attended the Bell tower site located at 70 Brownlee Road, Thessalon, Ontario

Crime Stoppers and the Thessalon Ontario Provincial Police are requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of theft.

Between April 4 and April 11, 2019, unknown suspects attended the Bell tower site located at 70 Brownlee Road, Thessalon, Ontario. The suspects gained entry to the site by cutting the chain linked fence surrounding the tower.

Once inside the tower site, the suspects removed approximately 800 feet of copper wire. The copper wire is two inches in diameter, light green in colour and is unique to a bell tower. The value of the copper wire is estimated between $15,000 and $20,000.
