Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police are looking for the public’s assistance in solving several break and enters and thefts.

On Jan. 19, 2019, members from the Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police Detachment responded to a complaint of a break and enter on Nils Bay Road, Kars Township.

During the investigation, OPP Officers received several complaints of break and enters in the same area.

Approximately five residential homes were broken into causing major damage to the exterior and interior of the home.

The unknown suspects removed several items during the incidents, including the following:
    •    A yellow 2003 Polaris four-wheeler
    •    A 2017 Yamaha outboard engine
    •    A Stihl chainsaw
    •    Several ATV helmets
    •    TVs
    •    A solar panel
    •    A Cooey pellet rifle
    •    Bushnell binoculars
    •    Tools

Police believe the same suspects were involved in all the break and enters in this area.
