Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of theft.

On February 8, 2019 an unknown male entered the Shell Canada Gas Bar located on Great Northern Road and requested a pack of Belmont king size cigarettes valued at $17.

The clerk placed the cigarette pack on the counter at which point the suspect grabbed them and fled the store on foot heading eastbound on Second Line.

The suspect was wearing a black jacket with a blue and grey hiking backpack and grey sweatpants.

If you can identify this person and your tip leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a cash reward.
