Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are asking for your assistance in identifying a suspect in a theft and fraud.  

On the March 17, 2018 at approximately 2:35 p.m., a male attended at a local downtown business and (allegedly) stole a purse that contained a credit card.

The unknown suspect then attended at the Macs Mart located on Gore Street.

(It is alleged that) the unidentified male proceeded to purchase $75 in assorted items with the stolen credit card.

This incident was caught on camera and can be viewed on our YouTube page by searching “SSM & Algoma Crime Stoppers”.

If you can identify this person and your tip leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a cash reward.
